Gale V2 Jacket

When I first saw the jacket, my first impression was. "Oh wow,the color is great, and it's light ad a feather, perfect to include in my hike kit". When I tried it on, it fits fine over a t shirt but does not allow for layering for cooler weather. The jacket will also go with me to the golf course as a windbreaker or light rainwear. I also really appreciate the additional length in the back to keep the backside covered.

wow! nice and compact. What I would like to see is a zippered pocket to put car key, license and c/c. other than that well done!

A really small when packed jacket just waiting for any adventure you throw at it. It's very waterproof and great to have with me if the weather changes. I look forward to using this jacket for years to come as it seems very high quality and an improvement on the previous version. I received excellent customer service and fast delivery, thank you.

The Gale V2 is a great little jacket. Very lightweight: it can be packed into its own tiny pocket. Thiseans you can keep it in a bag or trouser pocket, to pull out when needed. The fabric is very thin, but feels durable and it comes with four pockets (2 external, 2 internal), the two external ones fastening with a press-stud/popper.

My only gripe is, that it is a little tight around the hips, but this is likely a shortcoming in the unisex sizing. Ladies of a 'certain age' may like to order a size larger in order to accommodate this. I actually purchased an xxs, but it is not listed below.

A truly lovely jacket, worth every penny.

I was a bit worried about ordering such a fit-specific jacket without trying it on, but it fits great! I normally wear Medium or Large in jackets, and the Large of the Gale V2 is slim enough to wear by itself yet just spacious enough to allow for a light jumper underneath it if it's chilly. It's also INCREDIBLY water-resistant. I ran it under the faucet, the water immediately pooled off, and there was no condensation on the inside. That said, particularly when packing it away into its pocket, little loose threads kept/keep coming out of the seams, which worries me about the longevity.
