Gale is a featherlight, well-rounded jacket you would take anywhere, from cycling through city streets, to trail running an exposed ridgeline. Made from 100% recycled ripstop nylon, with a fabric weight of only 40gsm. This is your go-to packable jacket that is small enough to fit in your back pocket, but packs in more than enough features for you to send it.

So far so good

This jacket is even lighter than I expected! Overall it's super useful, it does a good job of being windproof. I have not yet had the opportunity to test how waterproof it is, but then again I suppose it doesn't claim to be waterproof anyway!

Great jacket

Not tested in the rain yet, but it is great protection against the wind.

I normally wear size M, but since it is a uni-sex sizing, sized one down to S and that’s fine.

How to fold it into pouch

The kickstarter images always depicted the Gale in a small pouch or bag. There was no bag supplied and it appears there is a way to fold it into one of the pockets since there is a loop at the base of the pocket. However any instructions on how to achieve folding the jacket into the pocket are totally absent.

The jacket is supplied rolled-up so there is no way to see how it could be done.

Why? Is it so difficult that it can't realistically be done ?
